Foundation Stage

The primary ages phases of the National Curriculum for England cover children from the ages of 5 to 11, these correspond to Key Stages 1 and 2. The curriculum is divided into core and foundation subjects. The core subjects are English, mathematics, and science, while the foundation subjects are art and design, computing, design and technology, geography, history, languages, music, and physical education. At Cambridge Academy Ethiopia our students study the subjects as prescribed by the National Curriculum for England. The languages studied by our students are English, French and either Amharic or Afan Oromo.
